A second brain for living on purpose
It’s hard to recognize what persists in your life when each day’s demands pull your attention toward whatever has just changed.
That is why I see constructing a second brain as a linchpin for living on purpose. A second brain gives us a place to retain our questions, experiences and working models, then return to them through continuing conversation. Over time, we can notice patterns that are difficult to see in the middle of a busy day.
Through HAICU, we bring lived experience and human judgment into conversation with AI’s ability to organize, connect and question what we have preserved. The conversation can help us examine our interpretations against what actually happens in our lives.
What persists can become clearer alongside what changes. We can ask what matters now, near and far, and consider a response that fits who we are and the situation we face.
This also creates possibilities for connection. When we make a working model visible, others can understand something of the journey behind it, offer feedback, and recognize where our purposes may meet.
Someone may notice an assumption we have missed or bring experience that helps us see another option. Collaboration has a clearer starting point because there is something specific to inquire into together.
That is one way feedback and collaboration can become On Purpose Service, or OPS: helping one another discover how our understanding and contributions can serve what matters.
